Our Reclaimed Oak Resawn Sawn Beams are generally made with reclaimed Oak that we have sawn with our band saw. This leaves some straight saw marks which are sanded lightly. Our resawn Oak beams are less rustic and more consistent in color then the original rough face Oak beams. The coloring is similar to our planed Oak beams. We also can do custom staining of the resawn box beams. We can offer the beams in White or Red Oak.
These beams are generally anywhere from 50 - 100 years old. They may have mortise pockets because they were joined with mortise and tennon joints.
Our Box Beams are generally ordered as 3 sided boxes that are completely assembled. We also sell 2 sided and 4 sided box beams. They arrive ready to install either over the top of existing beams or directly to the ceiling.
