Minimum Order Policies

E&K requires that our Clients purchase a minimum amount of certain products. The quantity can vary by Product Line and occasionally products within the same line with have different minimum order requirements depending on the costs that are associated with E&K providing that material. In general, the following applies:

For all Flooring (FL), E&K requires that a minimum of 100 square feet is ordered and for additional quantities to be added in increments of 50 square feet. This is due to the costs associated with providing this material such as pulling the wood, sorting it, metal detecting and denailing, other clean up options, milling and finishing. 

We also suggest that when purchasing Reclaimed Wood, you include and additional 15% of material to account for any irregularities in size and any possible waste during installation. 

Example: You add 300 SF of Reclaimed Flooring to your cart. You need to purchase an additional 15% to cover waste. Although 15% of 300 SF is only 45 additional SF, we ask that you purchase 350 SF total, not 345. 

 For all Lumber (LB), E&K requires that a minimum of 100 board feet is ordered and for additional quantities to be added in increments of 50 square feet. This is also due to the costs associated with providing this material such as pulling, sorting, metal detecting, denailing, other clean up options and any requested milling.

 For all Siding Blends (SD), E&K requires that a minimum of 300 square feet (if milled) or board feet (if unmilled) is ordered and for additional quantities to be added in increments of 50 square feet. Again, this is due to the costs associated with providing this material such as pulling, sorting, metal detecting, denailing, other clean up options and any requested milling.

 Certain rare items in our line of Beams (BM) may only require a minimum purchase of 1 beam or 1 bundle. However Beams that can also be used as Lumber require a minimum of 100 board and for additional quantities to be added in increments of 50 square feet.

All Slabs (SL) and Furniture (FN) require a minimum purchase of 1 entire piece.
